Cherished and held dear by its parishioners, the Lentvaris church is almost unknown outside the parish. The historical and artistic significance of the church has not yet received adequate assessment from specialists – Church and culture historians, and researchers of architecture and art. The curators of the exhibition at the Church Heritage Museum of the Vilnius Archdiocese, presenting the history of construction and décor of the Lentvaris church, aim to acquaint Lithuanian society with an interesting and unique monument of culture in the vicinity of Vilnius.
